We are excited to announce a new program - Camp Adventure: Broadway Bound!
Come cool off UNDER THE SEA with us this Summer at Camp Adventure: Broadway Bound as we dive into our splashiest production yet of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.! We invite you to be PART OF OUR WORLD as we all discover our voices, grab our thingamabobs, and shine onstage in this popular adaptation of Disney’s Broadway production and movie (featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics). Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.
Campers will register for one of two tracks.
Onstage track (2-week program): July 21-August 1
Open to rising 1st-6th graders: In the Onstage track, campers will be assigned roles in a scripted musical (stay tuned for our exciting announcement of which musical!) and will spend the two weeks learning songs, scenes, dances, playing theatre games, and becoming a real company of performers! They will perform their show for the campers, family, and friends on the final Friday of camp!
Backstage track (1-week program): July 28-August 1
Open to rising 4th-6th graders: In the Backstage track, campers will spend the two weeks learning the ins and outs of behind-the-scenes theatre, including tech elements, Stage Management, and prop/costume/set design and construction. They will also act as the backstage crew for the musical on the final Friday of camp!
